I'm back in the studio, taking a short break from writing, and enjoying the playfulness of mark making.
In the first image, I used a variety of objects to design the original structure, and then worked back into it using line drawing.
In the second image, I created a monotype, using the first imprint, followed by a series of ghost prints. I then worked back into it with white contrast.
The stamp is my name in Japanese - Tenshi (Angel) - and I use it for works on paper.
